Inspiration is an intangible that transforms the way we perceive our capabilities, experiences, and limitations. It awakens us to new possibilities and drives us to proceed towards our goals. Henceforth, inspiration –rather understated – serves as an essential ingredient of success and productivity. With an intent to inspire, we share the insightful and motivational stories of a few Coworkingbird’s accomplished freelancers, who have used our platform to rewrite their own stories of success.

The bright prospects are compelling enough to drive anyone towards the world of freelance but where to start may be a bit overwhelming at the beginning. Hence, to put things in perspective, we are sharing the real-life accounts of some of our successful freelancers with the objective of sharing a peek into their experiences and milestones along the journey.

We hope that their story maneuvers your passion in the right direction and helps you navigate through the world of freelance as seamlessly as possible!

Thaila GREEN

Citizen of the World
“I attribute all my success as a freelance developer to Coworkingbird’s platform. This forum has opened new avenues for me as a Frontend Designer and provided me with a sustainable income. I love being able to choose everything from who I work with to where I work from.”

Stayed over 300 hostels

Thalia Green was in her first year of university in the US when she had to drop out due to a health condition. A blessing in disguise, Green got a chance to explore her interest in web development, and thereafter, she self-taught herself through various affordable and informative online courses. She started her independent work mainly through referrals and her pay fluctuated with every client – mostly her family and friends.

Ever since Green registered herself with Coworkingbird, she landed into a pool of projects along with a decent and stable stream of income. That day till date, there has been no turning back for Thalia Green.

Christopher GERALTH

Former waiter and an elementary school teacher, Christopher GERALTH is a phenomenal vocalist and songwriter based in Atlanta. GERALTH suffered immense personal and financial challenges from a very young age. Blessed with an ability to resonate with the wider audience, GERALTH moved to New York and recorded a few demos, all of which were turned down. It wasn’t until he created an account with Coworkingbird that he got his big break in 2020.

Today, GERALTH is successfully catering to an assortment of new and repeat clients who find his work better than anyone they have ever met.

“November AND October is our shared brainchild where we live with various brands in a virtual world. We are so glad to have this opportunity of working with Coworkingbird and do what we are passionate about. We are already very happy with the response that we have received so far from clients across the world and envision taking this up as a full-time career”.

Born in the capital of Japan, Tokyo, Sakura Yui took her passion for art from her mother who was a renowned painter. After completing her formal education, Yui moved to Spain for her job, which is when she met her partner in the custom photography business, Benton Bill.

Benton Bill was born in London, United Kingdom, where he studied drama. Bill moved to Spain with no money, no contacts, and no knowledge of the Spanish language and worked for many years in the theater in various capacities while practicing photography as a hobby. Yui and Bill got a chance to work together on a project, which is when they clicked and November AND October was born. Interestingly, both the partners work as full-time employees for their respective full-time careers but freelance for their joint interests and Coworkingbird is their ultimate choice for a medium to find gigs.
